BioDiscovery Nexus Copy Number, Nexus Expression, and Nexus Methylation Training at Erasmus MC

BioDiscovery, Inc. in collaboration with Erasmus MC is pleased to announce a 2 day extensive training program on analysis and visualization of DNA copy number, RNA expression, and methylation data. The course combines both lecture and hands-on training sessions. The first day of the program is designed to provide foundation training on basic concepts, such copy number segmentation, measurement of allelic imbalance and loss of heterozygousity using SNP arrays, and demonstrate the application of these concepts in clinical cytogenetic settings. The second day covers more advanced research-based use of copy number analysis and integration of gene expression and methylation data. Demo data will be provided and participants may also bring and use their own data for parts of the hands-on sessions.

Date: February 9 and 10, 2010, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Erasmus Postgraduate School Molecular Medicine
Rotterdam, The Netherlands For maps and hotel information, please visit http://www.molmed.nl/maps/maps.asp

Cost: Please visit the MolMed training course page for course costs.

Registration: Participants may register for each day separately. Please visit the training course page at Erasmus MC to register.

Data set for hands-on training: Participants may bring their own data on a memory stick. It is preferred that the data type and array type be a common commercial format (e.g. Agilent FE data type) to make most efficient use of this training time. Sample data will be provided to those who do not bring their own data..

If you have any questions please contact us at info@biodiscovery.com.
